Growing native plants on the rooftop of a … bus!?

Published on May 1, 2012 by   | Something new is growing on the BioBus! Thanks to the Greenbelt Native Plant Center, we’ve got a completely native greenroof growing now, including grasses, wildflowers, and even edible berries plants. They’ve just been planted, so no eating them yet. Thanks to Marco Castro from Bus Roots, Nick Frechette, and that random horticulturalist we met at the bar in Wading River who gave us the ideas to put grasses on our, err … backside.
