Cause for optimism in struggling city environment: Green Economy Leadership Training

  | May 31, 2011 | The Green Economy Leadership Training is a 9-week training program in Highland Park, a city within the city of Detroit. For the entire summer, 25 innovative and dedicated youth will live in Highland Park while undergoing training in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and urban agriculture. They’ll participate in summer-long group projects designed to build micro business and spend three hours each week in the 2011 version of the Freedom Movement class.
