Homemade Wilderness goes on vacation

I am heading out of town, so, for the first time since this site started publishing, there will be an interruption in news flow.

Being a green traveler and in an effort to better learn to “read the landscape,” I will be taking Amtrak to Massachusetts where I look forward to spending time with people I adore.

Nick Novick, former editor of The Ecological Landscaper, has promised to show me the New England Wild Flower Society’s Garden in the Woods and a meadow he helped install at the Mount Auburn Cemetery. As it turns out, Nick has a brand new article posted at the Ecological Landscaping Association’s site, and I direct your attention to it here. ~ JB
