“Brush hog on steroids” hired by private and public funds to tear out Japanese Honeysuckle in Missouri

The Springfield News-Leader has just published an article that includes photos of Congressman Roy Blunt watching a carbide-tipped shredder/mulcher clearing invasive shrubs from three acres of private property. The cost to the landowner, $1,500, is offset by half, thanks to a Forest Service grant. Read more here.
