The Redbay Ambrosia Beetle (Xyleborus glabratus) is a newly arrived pest that carries a fungus which causes wilt to trees in the Lauraceae family, such as Redbay (Persea borbonia), Swampbay (P. palustris), Sassafras (Sassafras albidum) and avocado (P. Americana). Read more here.
