UN report: Rehabilitating nature-based assets creates jobs

Restoring lost and damaged ecosystems—from forests and freshwaters to mangroves and wetlands—can trigger multi-million dollar returns, generate jobs, and combat poverty according to a new report compiled by the UN Environment Programme.
