Los Angeles continues 7-year tradition: trade in gas-powered mowers for electrics

The LA Air Quality Management District figures using electricity is less environmentally damaging than burning gasoline in lawn mowers, so for the eighth year now, Southern California offers a program wherein homeowners will receive about $250 to $350 off the cost of a new electric mower for turning in their gas-powered machines. Four models, manufactured by Neuton and Black& Decker, are available. Read more here.
